Digestive system Reflection

WHAT DID I LEARN?
I learnt a lot about the Digestive system. It is much too complex than saying it is a system that processes our food. There are many parts of this system that root to the whole process. I learnt the basic parts like the Oesophagus, Stomach, Liver, Small Intestine and Large Intestine and of course the Anus. But It is much more deep than this we learnt complex organs such as the Villi, Duodenum and Epiglottis and its functions.

MEMORIES:
I really enjoyed DISSECTING the pig and breaking it to bits to re-create the Digestive system. We got to "touch" the live pigs systems. I remember squeezing the jelly-like liver and pulling the 7 meter long Small intestine. This gave me the idea of what a digestive system really looked like.

CURIOSITIES???
I was still very curious with what else can be discovered from dissecting and re-searching on the body. I want get into dissecting different animals and find the difference in the digestive system!

  1. Hi,
An excellent summary and well written.
your digestive health can modify over your lifetime, based on how healthier your overall routines are, your genes, and your age.
